Dear dive centers, resorts and liveaboards,<\/p>\n
an important topic for divers and travellers is the handling of environment and nature. The 19 members of the ADTO also attach great importance to sustainability.
\nAt our Annual General Meeting in May, we therefore decided to offer an environmental award, which will be rewarded with EUR 2000.<\/p>\n
This prize will be awarded if a dive resort, dive centre or liveaboard ship is particularly committed to sustainable and\/or social projects. This can be, for example, special processing, waste-plastic avoidance or support and further education of the population in environmental protection.
\nYou can apply to the ADTO for this year’s award from now on until 26.08.2019 at the latest.<\/p>\n
We have not defined exact criteria for this. It is sufficient if you describe your project or your commitment and tell us which further measures are planned.<\/p>\n
Please also include a meaningful or exemplary photo.
\nThe deadline for submission is 26.08.2019. All proposals and projects will be viewed and discussed at the ADTO and then voted among the members who will receive this award.<\/p>\n
The award ceremony will take place in September at the InterDive fair in Friedrichshafen (26.09. – 29.09.2019)
